Canadian Christian Leaders Commit to a Fast

In this busy season leading to the celebration of the birth of Christ, we are surrounded by increased consumption,spending, activities, and eating. To acknowledge this brokeness, leaders representing many Canadian Christian denominations and their development agencies have committed to a one day fast on Wednesday November 28th, expressing their collective commitment to ending hunger.
During this one day fast, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, the agency that links all of these Christian agencies and denominations together in the work of ending hunger, will launch a new program called End Hunger Fast.
A letter bearing all of the participants names will be submitted to representatives of the Government of Canada indicating their commitment and inviting others to do likewise.
